it's alright

it'd be a lott better if you used more instruments than the single phazing saw lead though... you know, to help change it up. you said it's not dnb, which excludes your excuse of keeping it simple, especially if it's supposed to be breakbeat.

it'd help a lot if you changed up the drums. changed them up a lot. there's almost no fills at all throughout the song, and the one that you DO have is repeated every 8th measure! my being a drummer really helps in drum transitions, so if you ever need any assistance with that sort of thing, just pm me.

also, one last thing, try throwing some bass in there. even if it's techno or breakbeat or whatever, there still needs to be at least SOME bass in there lol.

overall what you did with what you have earns you a 5 and a 10, but i honestly think if you go all the way, you could create one of the greatest masterpieces this website has ever seen.

wow, as an artist, i appreciate everything.

i loved the saws and ambience breaks, and you cant forget about the guitar laid on top of the breakbeat/ dnb beats.

though i've never played castlevania, this song really makes me want to go try it out

rock on bro, there's nothing wrong, and everything right with this song. it belongs on #1 in the top 50. lol oh, and if you get a chance, check my halo themes, they're #9 on the top currently

i see where you're coming with at this, and it'd sound really good on a nice set of stereo headphones

ONE THING

the lower EQ isn't quite low enough for a delicious bass-tastic taste. my suggestion is to up the lower trends in the song to burn up my subwoofer... a lot... lol i want this thing to mushify my brain. (more than it already is, of course =P)

love the distortion lead man, very crispy, but the snare is a little too poppy, maybe try switching pitches with it once in a while to make a trippy fill here and there, to help even out the repetitiveness. (and yes, i know drum and bass is supposed to be repetitive, but fills make it sound better.)

just try it and see how it sounds!
